My Priorities

Infrastructure

Infrastructure has been a priority with my past 4 years and will continue to be. The city has focused on key services such as roads, water, secondary water, sewer and storm drain. We must always be focused on sustainable and maintainable services for our city.

This year like the past 2-3 years the city has some major road & service projects. This year some of those projects are:

300 East road & water project, 1100 N road & storm drain project, 380 East road & waterline project, and 900 West and 2100 North road projects are scheduled.

Please see Pleasant Grove’s website for updated road projects.

economic growth

As we see our continued growth in our wonderful city, we must always be mindful of all these key services, how can we plan growth to achieve sustainable development that balances community well-being, economic energy and maintainable services.

Pro-Business means a healthy Pleasant Grove.

I will continue to be a strong voice for our economic development, in growing our sales tax base and providing for “open for business” climate that will bring in strong jobs, retail and commercial.

Quality of life

As we see our continued growth in our wonderful city, we must always be mindful of all our key services. We must plan our growth wisely to achieve sustainable development that balances community well-being, public safety, economic energy and maintainable services.

Quality of life is often mentioned as the reason why some people choose to live in a city. Citizens look to factors like job opportunities, retail, quality schools, parks, recreation programs and outdoor activities in the communities they live in as key factors. Pleasant Grove is continually ranked as one of the safest cities in our state, thanks to our public safety men and women.

Below are just some of the newest enhancements to our community.
